Anxiety & Depression Therapy
Las Vegas, NV
Maybe your mind won't slow down. Maybe you're carrying a sense of dread you can't quite explain. Or maybe you feel the opposite: disconnected, exhausted, and unable to find the motivation you used to have. Anxiety and depression don't mean something is wrong with you. They're often signs that something needs attention, support, or a different way of being approached. Therapy can help you understand what's underneath what you're experiencing and find ways to feel more like yourself again.

This might be a good fit if you notice:
- Racing or repetitive thoughts you can't seem to turn off
- A sense of dread or worry that shows up even when nothing is obviously wrong
- Low energy, low motivation, or losing interest in things you used to enjoy
- Withdrawing from people or feeling more irritable than usual
- Trouble sleeping - too much, too little, or never feeling rested
- A general sense of being stuck, numb, or going through the motions
How therapy actually helps
This isn't just about talking through your feelings and hoping things get better. Being genuinely heard and understood is beneficial, but we'll also look at what's keeping the pattern going.
Sessions may include practical, evidence-based tools to help you manage anxious thoughts, regulate difficult emotions, and feel more grounded in your everyday life. We'll also connect the dots between what you're experiencing now and the experiences that may have shaped it, including unresolved stress or trauma.
When it fits, EMDR can be incorporated to help process experiences that continue to affect the way you think, feel, and respond today.

What to expect in a first session
The first session is mostly about understanding your history, what's been going on lately, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. That's what the sessions are for. From there, you and Tina will build a plan together and revisit it as things shift.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Therapy can be helpful whether or not medication is part of your treatment. If medication seems like something worth exploring, Tina can talk through that option with you and coordinate with a trusted prescriber.
You don't have to know before you start - that's part of what the first couple of sessions help sort out. It's also common to experience both at once.
It varies by person and what's underneath the anxiety or depression. Some people begin to notice changes fairly early, while deeper, lasting change can take more time. Your pace will depend on what you're experiencing and what we're working through together.
You don't have to keep white-knuckling through this.
